Chris

Chris is a Biology PhD student in the Petrov and Lowe labs. He is broadly interested in the evolution of developmental modes and how traits unique to different life stages evolve. Currently he is also investigating the repeatability of adaptation in Drosophila melanogaster. Prior to starting grad school, Chris received his B.S. in biology from Northeastern University where he studied how different bacterial metabolites affect phytoplankton mortality. After that he worked in the Hoekstra lab at Harvard University and researched the evolution of tail development across deermice.
