Lisa Frenette
Lisa is the new Petrov Lab Administrator (2024). Lisa is originally from Daly City, CA. Much of her pre-teen and teenage years she spent running through the halls of San Francisco State University assisting (but mainly not assisting) the Marine Biology Lab of Tom Neeson with her mother whose heart is and will always be, with the ocean, as a research scuba diver. Lisa has spent vast amounts of time at the Coyote Point mud flats planting, then collecting weeks later, potted mollusk samples. One of Lisa’s first paid jobs was entering those clam growth calculations into an excel spreadsheet for the scientific data recording for the lab. This involvement has triggered a passion for Lisa in administration that she has been emerged in for over 20 years. This passion has evolved to supporting high-level executives, managers, global teams and now the Stanford University ecosystem. Lisa is excited to join the Stanford/Petrov Lab family. Her highest hope is to streamline operations to make the administration more efficient for all and witness the growth and achievement of opportunities that will arise from each and every one of these amazing students.
