Doran Goldman

Doran is a former undergraduate researcher in the Petrov, Relman, and Huang labs (2019-2023). He began working with the lab as an undergraduate at Stanford before graduating in 2023 and is continuing to work with Katherine Xue on colonization ecology in the gut microbiome as a Research Assistant in the Relman Lab. He is particularly interested in the effect of neutral forces like propagule size on colonization, which he studies using stool-derived in vitro microbial communities
