Shreyas Gopalakrishnan Joins the Lab!

Extremely excited to welcome Shreays to the lab! Shreyas is a CEHG Postdoctoral Fellow in the Petrov lab (2024-now). Before coming to Stanford, Shreays pursued his PhD in Michael Desai's lab at Harvard where he worked on surveying genotype-to-fitness maps in a variety of different genetic and environmental contexts using long-term laboratory evolution experiments (https://elifesciences.org/articles/63910), high-throughput CRISPR editing, and high-resolution QTL mapping (https://elifesciences.org/articles/73983). In the Petrov lab, Shreyas is interested in understanding the molecular bases underlying genotype-to-fitness maps at the protein expression, metabolite expression, and signaling pathway output levels.
